SALVATION

We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ: His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human efforts. Jesus is the one and only way to have relationship with God and receive the gift of eternal life.

WATER BAPTISM

Water baptism by immersion in water is an outward sign and testimony of an inward grace.

Matt. 28:19, Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12; Acts 8:36-39

HOLY SPIRIT

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift promised by God available to all believers in Jesus and enables us to walk in the same power that Jesus did while here on earth and is accompanied by the evidence of speaking in tongues.

Acts 2:4; Matthew 3:11; John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:38-39; Acts 19:1-7

GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit is manifested through a variety of spiritual gifts to build and sanctify the church, demonstrate the validity of the resurrection, and confirm the power of the Gospel. All believers are commanded to earnestly desire the manifestation of the gifts in their lives. These gifts always operate in harmony with the Scriptures and should never be used in violation of Biblical parameters.

Hebrews 2:4; Romans 1:11, 12 :4-8; Ephesians 4:16; 1 Timothy 4:14; 2 Timothy 1:6-7; I Corinthians 12:1-31, 14:1-40; I Peter 4:10

Matthew 25:41; Mark 9:43-48; Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 14:9-11, 20:12-15, 21:8

BiBLICAL SEXUALITY

This statement is lengthy, so please click Read More below for the full text.

This much is clear: we cannot and should not try to be perfect before we come to Christ—including in the area of our sexuality, which is becoming more confusing than ever before.  When we come to Christ, we bring our self, our sin, pain, confidence, preferences, and ideals to Him—His love is fierce and trustworthy.  He receives us with love and He begins the process of transformation.  But the Church hasn’t con-sistently represented Christ well. For those who identify as LGBTQ, we want you to experience... RESURRECTION

Jesus Christ was physically resurrected from the dead in a glorified body three days after His death on the cross. In addition, both the saved and the lost will be resurrected; those that are saved to the resurrection of life and those that are lost to the resurrection of eternal damnation.

Luke 24:16, 36, 39; John 2:19-21, 20:26-28, 21:4; Acts 24:15; I Corinthians 15:42, 44; Philippians 1:21-23, 3:21

ISRAEL

Israel is God’s chosen people through whom Jesus our Messiah came that the whole world would be saved. God’s gifts and calling for the Jewish people are irrevocable and the gentile church has not replaced the nation of Israel as God’s chosen people, but rather have been grafted in to their tree to partake of the blessings of salvation and the blessings Abraham. We pray for and stand with Israel and the peace of Jerusalem, and believe that all of Israel shall be saved.
